When I first started creating Scripture Meditation videos, I was using the ESV version. Then I found out that the ESV translation, and many other versions of the bible, are copyrighted. This means that technically, you're not allowed to publicly post content that is made up entirely of scripture from these copyrighted versions (though it can make up a small percentage of your content). Though many content creators continue to do this anyway, I felt very convicted and didn't want to get into legal trouble. So once I was made aware of this fact, with great sadness, I immediately took down my videos from YouTube with the ESV version. Thankfully, however! Some of my faithful subscribers let me know that the KJV and WEB versions of the Bible are PUBLIC DOMAIN. This means, if I used these translation in my videos, I’d not only be able recreate and keep creating Scripture Mediations exactly as they have been, but I may be able to make them available for purchase! I'm still looking into the possibility of making my meditations purchasable for even easier listening, but this is the reason why my mediations are only in these two translations. Hope that makes sense!

I have been working on a way to make my mediations available for purchase and download, but the last hurdle I've come up against is that the music I've been using underneath my scripture readings is from YouTube's audio library. As far as I can tell, I'm free to use the royalty free music they provide as long as the content is on YouTube. If I want to put the mediations elsewhere or offer them for purchase, I may need to find or create my own instrumentals so I have the commercial license to legally do so. If anyone knows where I can purchase great peaceful instrumental tracks for this purpose, please use my Contact form to let me know!
